As a political scientist with a focus on the Middle East, my teaching spans a wide range of topics within Politics and International Relations. With experience teaching at multiple universities, including the University of St Andrews, University of Leicester, and University of Edinburgh, I bring both academic rigor and real-world insights into my courses.

I design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules that encourage critical thinking, interdisciplinary exploration, and the application of theory to contemporary global issues. My teaching is informed by my extensive research on tribalism, sectarianism, and conflict, particularly in the context of the Middle East.

I strive to foster an engaging learning environment where students can actively participate in discussions, develop analytical skills, and explore the complexities of international relations, conflict, and governance. Additionally, I provide mentorship and guidance to students through dissertation supervision, helping them refine their research ideas and achieve their academic goals.
